"Psalms 41:1-2 Blessed is he who considers the poor: the LORD will deliver him in the time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive and he will be blessed on the earth. "Isa 58:7, 8, 11:- it not to share your bread with the hungry, and that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; when you see the naked, that you cover him... Then your light shall break forth like the morning, your healing shall spring forth speedily, and your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard. The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail." Psalms 112:9 He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever; His horn will be exalted with honor. Proverbs 19:17 " If you help the poor, you are lending to the LORD, and he will repay you!"

Deuteronomy 15:7-14 " But if there are any poor Israelites in your towns when you arrive in the land the LORD your God is giving you, do not be hard-hearted or tightfisted toward them. Instead, be generous and lend them whatever they need. Do not be mean-spirited and refuse someone a loan because the year for canceling debts is close at hand. If you refuse to make the loan and the needy person cries out to the LORD, you will be considered guilty of sin. Give generously to the poor, not grudgingly, for the LORD your God will bless you in everything you do. There will always be some in the land who are poor. That is why I am commanding you to share freely with the poor and with other Israelites in need.
